About Compensation

Compensation supports the human resource needs of the university and its employees in Compensation and Classification:

• Provides consultative services to managers, supervisors and employees on compensation, classification, and pay issues and with management on organizational and staff development issues related to classification and compensation programs;
• Administers the campus classification and job evaluation program;
• Partners with campus departments in delegating classification authority for selected positions;
• Develops and implements compensation and classification studies, programs and structures;
• Maintains the University title and pay plan for non-academic employees;
• Conducts market surveys and reports.
