About Employment Services

Employment Services provides a full range of services to support campus departments' staffing needs:

• Develops qualifications for job postings and posts positions in the Campus Job Opportunities bulletin;
• Branding/marketing of the campus and its positions;
• Designs and implements targeted recruitment strategies;
• Pre-screens resumes, interviews and refers qualified candidates, and coordinates and supports search committees;
• Assists in creating reliable and valid interview questions;
• Consults on appropriate and legal selection processes;
• Interprets policies and procedures and problem solves at all stages of the hiring process;
• Coordinates use of executive, accounting, information technology, and professional search firms;
• Conducts regular and customized training with other CHR units on topics such as How to Write a Job Description, Interviewing the Job Applicant, Employment Practices Compliance, and on resume development and job search strategies.
