*There are some situations where an employee’s rehire date may not be a break in service, for purposes of this Service Based salary action. For example, an employee who is medically separated but returns to work within 180 days of separation is not considered as having a break in service. For those CX employees with an Original Hire Date and a Most Recent Hire Date, you will want to review and determine the basis for the “most recent date of hire” to ensure that this date is not determined to be a break in service for this purpose.
