Learn to Live and Work Well with Chronic Pain and Illness Presented by the Staff & Faculty Counseling Center

If left untreated, chronic pain may become a “syndrome” affecting one’s work productivity, relationships, and mood. In this six-week educational support group for UCLA, you will begin to:

  • Understand the power of the mind
  • Learn relaxation techniques to reduce pain
  • Communicate more effectively
  • Increase productivity
  • Enhance quality of life

Wendy Walsdorf, MFT, will facilitate the support group. It will be held at the Staff & Faculty Counseling Center in the Wilshire Center, 10920 Wilshire Blvd., Ste. 380. Every Wednesday between the dates of February 15 and March 22, the group will meet from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Space is limited so please call the Staff & Faculty Counseling Center for enrollment. The support group is open to UCLA staff and faculty.
