2009-10 Management Seminar Series

DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS

Re: 2009-10 Management Seminar Series

I am pleased to invite academic and administrative leaders, including interested faculty, managers and senior professional staff, to participate in the 2009-10 Management Seminar Series, our continuing partnership with the UCLA Anderson School’s Executive Education Program.

Our 2009-10 program is called Sustaining Your Capacity to Lead. It is designed to enhance resilience during challenging times, a critical component of sustaining your capacity to lead, to innovate and think creatively. Quarterly sessions are offered on these topics:

  • Pitching Innovation, Justine Lewis, November 18, 2009
  • Personal Branding, William Arruda, February 10, 2010
  • Thinking on Your Feet, Iris Firstenberg, March 3, 2010
  • Presence-Based Resilience: Sustaining Your Capacity to Lead, Doug Silsbee, April 6, 2010

To economize on printing expenses, our brochure this year is electronic and available in Related Information. You may enroll online via the UC Learning Center which is also in Related Information.

Package enrollments enjoy priority, since space is limited. Departments may reserve a package and designate in advance different participants for selected seminars. The fee for a complete Seminar Series Package is $500 and $165 for individual seminars.

We appreciate your ongoing support of CHR Training and Development efforts to enhance leadership preparation. Please contact Marisa McCarthy (marisa@chr.ucla.edu) for enrollment assistance and Robert Gibson (rgibson@chr.ucla.edu) for program information.

Thank you for your support of the 2009-10 Management Seminar Series.

Sincerely,

Lubbe Levin
Associate Vice Chancellor
