2011 UC Business Officer Institute

Re: 2011 UC Business Officer Institute

We are pleased to communicate UCOP’s call for nominations for the 2011 Business Officer Institute (BOI). This highly valued program is designed to provide employees with broad administrative responsibilities a unique opportunity to learn more about the UC system as a whole and about the role of all business officers as stewards of the public trust.

BOI is available to employees who have broad decision-making and/or supervisory responsibilities in academic or administrative departments for budget, finance, systems, internal controls, human resources, or sponsored projects. Candidates must be classified at the Professional and Support Staff (PSS) or Management and Senior Professional (MSP) level to be eligible for nomination. Managers and business officers of the University who have not already attended BOI in the past are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.

The next BOI session will take place November 28 – December 1, 2011 at the Irvine Marriott Hotel in Irvine, CA. More information about the 2011 BOI will be available soon on the UCOP website.
