Proposed Guidelines for FY 2014-15 Merit Pay Plan for PPSM Policy-Covered Staff

RE: UCLA Proposed Guidelines for Administration of the FY 2014-15 Merit Pay Plan for PPSM Policy-Covered Staff

We are pleased to distribute the Proposed Guidelines for implementing the FY 2014-2015 Merit Pay Plan applicable to Policy-Covered (Non-Represented) Staff, as previously announced by Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Waugh.

The merit pool will be 3 percent calculated on the payroll base of eligible filled positions. Merit increases for eligible staff will be effective July 1, 2014, for those on a monthly pay schedule and June 22, 2014, for those paid on a biweekly schedule.

These guidelines do not apply to exclusively represented employees, whose salaries are determined in accordance with applicable collective bargaining agreements and/or meeting-and-conferring under the Higher Education Employer-Employee Relations Act (HEERA).

Information regarding implementation procedures will be sent to HR administrators by Compensation Services. Please circulate the proposed guidelines to policy-covered staff.
