Dear Colleagues:

The University of California is proposing revisions to Personnel Policies for Staff Members (PPSM) 30 – Salary, including a change in title to “Compensation.” The policy applies to staff employees in the Professional & Support Staff and Management & Senior Professional personnel programs.

The policies that have been integrated into PPSM 30 – Compensation are:

  • PPSM 30-Salary
  • PPSM 31-Hours of Work
  • PPSM 32-Overtime (Non-Exempt Employees Only)
  • PPSM 33-Shift and Weekend Differential (Non-Exempt Employees Only)

We would appreciate your assistance in circulating the proposed policy to policy-covered staff in your organization. Because this is a formal review, comments are encouraged and will be considered before a final policy is adopted.
