Applications are now being accepted for the 2013 Staff Assembly Recognition Awards and Staff Scholarships. The UCLA Staff Assembly is accepting nominations and applications for the following awards:
- Faculty/Staff Partnership Award
In recognition of the value of collaboration and collegiality, staff members are encouraged to nominate faculty members who actively develop and exemplify faculty/staff partnerships. - Staff Scholarships
Staff members may apply for scholarships in support of their career enhancement and professional growth. Each award covers the cost of education and training up to $500. - Chancellor's Excellence in Service Awards
To recognize, encourage and reinforce the performance of staff members who have greatly contributed to UCLA’s ongoing mission, Staff Assembly proudly honors two employees each year with the Chancellor's Excellence in Service Awards. The awards are presented to staff members who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to UCLA and have made a significant and lasting impact on the University. We encourage nominations from campus organizations and the Health System, as an award recipient will be chosen from each area. The individuals selected for this prestigious honor will each receive a $2,000 award.
Program criteria and application/nomination forms are available on the Staff Assembly website in Related Information. The deadline for nominations is Friday, May 3, 2013.
Recipients of the awards and scholarships will be honored at the Staff Assembly’s Recognition Awards Reception, which will be announced at a later date.
