Tricia M. Hiemstra, UC Santa Barbara Benefits Manager, and John R. Sandbrook, UCLA Executive Officer to the Administrative Vice Chancellor, have been elected to the University of California Retirement System (UCRS) Advisory Board. Combined, the two new board members bring 56 years of UC experience to their elected positions, which they will serve from July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2011.
The UCRS Advisory Board develops ideas and new approaches to the provisions of UCRS benefits and communicates them to the President of the University. The board discusses concerns relating to all members, participants and their beneficiaries.
