Health Net has notified UCLA that a letter has been sent in error to their members who have a Primary Care Physician with the UCLA Medical Group. The letter erroneously states that the UCLA Medical Group will no longer be a Health Net contracted provider as of September 1, 2009. A copy of the letter is in Related Information.
An apology and retraction letter will be sent by Health Net as soon as approval is received from the Department of Managed Health Care. To minimize any confusion, please reassure any employee who expresses concern about this error from Health Net that the UCLA Medical Group contract with Health Net has not been terminated.
