Wage Implementation for Lower-Wage Policy Covered (99) Employees
In a follow-up to the memorandum dated April 9, 2007, Compensation Services is in the process of implementing salary increases for Policy Covered employees as follows:
Policy-Covered (non-represented), non-student employees
- Employees earning less than $30,000 per year will receive a 2% salary increase
- Employees earning $30,000 or more but less than $35,000 per year will receive a 1% salary increase
- Employees earning $35,000 or more but less than $40,000 per year will receive a 0.5% salary increase
Increases are effective April 1, 2007, for monthly paid employees and March 25, 2007, for biweekly paid employees. In order to be eligible, employees must be on active status or an approved leave on the effective date of the increase and on the date of payout.
Changes will be updated into EDB the evening of July 9, 2007, and records will therefore be available for review on July 10, 2007. Monthly paid employees will receive their increase, including retroactive pay, on their paycheck of August 1, 2007, and biweekly paid employees will receive their increase, including retroactive pay, on their paycheck of July 25, 2007.
