2013-2015 Staff Advisor to the UC Regents

Eligible UC staff and non-Senate academic employees who are interested in serving as the 2013-2015 Staff Advisor to the UC Board of Regents may apply for the position through March 1, 2013, at 5 p.m.

The Staff Advisor Program allows for two staff and/or non-Senate academic employees to participate in open sessions of designated committees of the Board. One new staff advisor is selected each year for a two-year term and he/she brings the voice and perspective of staff and non-Senate academic employees to Board deliberations. UCLA’s Kevin Smith is currently serving in this role, and he is available to answer questions for those who may wish to apply for the position for the new term beginning July 1, 2013.

For more information about Staff Advisors, visit the Staff Advisors' website and read the article about Staff Advisors in Related Information. The site includes details about the role and responsibilities of the position, the application process, the selection process, and an application form. For employees without computer or internet access, hard copies of the application and all relevant information are available at the Campus Human Resources reception desk, Suite 200, Wilshire Center.
