All eligible UC staff and non-Senate academic employees who are interested in serving as the 2010-2012 Staff Advisor to the UC Board of Regents may apply for the position beginning January 15, 2010, through March 1, 2010, at 5 p.m.
One new Staff Advisor Designate is selected each year to serve a two-year term—the first year as Staff Advisor Designate and the second year as Staff Advisor. The UC President, in consultation with the Chairman of the Board of Regents, will make the selection of the new Staff Advisor Designate.
The Staff Advisors serve as non-voting advisors to designated Regents’ committees, and they attend and participate directly in committee and Board meetings throughout their term of service.
