CUE to Participate in StayWell

The University and the Clerical and Allied Services Unit represented by CUE (CX) have agreed that its members will have access to StayWell—UC’s wellness program—effective March 2, 2009.

CUE members have access under the same terms allowed by other eligible groups: employees and their eligible spouse or domestic partner enrolled in UC's Anthem Blue Cross PLUS and PPO, CIGNA Choice Fund, Health Net and Core medical plans. (Kaiser members have access to Kaiser’s integrated wellness program.)

The period during which CUE members can earn an incentive for taking the StayWell Health Assessment (HA) is March 2, 2009, through June 10, 2009. (This does not change the April 15, 2009, incentive deadline for all other eligible employees.) For completing the HA, StayWell is offering a $100 incentive award to eligible UC employees and retirees and a $50 incentive award to their eligible spouse or domestic partner.

In addition to the eligibility of all policy-covered (non-represented) employees, below are the UCLA bargaining units participating in StayWell for 2009:

  • CX        Clerical & Allied Services (CUE)
  • IX         Non-Academic Senate—Instructional (AFT)
  • K4        Skilled Crafts – UCLA (SETC)
  • LX         Professional Librarians (AFT)
  • PA        Police Office
