Health Net will reissue new ID cards to members whose coverage became effective on January 1, 2009, as a result of inaccurate information printed on the back. The statement, “For Prescriptions-by-mail questions, call Express Scripts at (866) 265-9455,” was included on the ID card in error. Health Net now uses CVS Caremark (not Express Scripts) for mail-order prescriptions.
The misprinted name and phone number on the back of the card does not impact the functioning of the ID card for claims' purposes. New Health Net members should continue to use their current ID card until they receive their updated version in the mail.
