Proposed Revisions to PPSM 62 - Corrective Actions

The UC Office of the President has proposed revisions to Personnel Policies for Staff Members (PPSM) 62 - Corrective Action for employees at the Professional and Support Staff level.

The revisions are intended to clarify and define the corrective action process that may be used when an employee fails to meet acceptable conduct or work-performance standards. Updated definitions and clarification regarding the concept of progressive discipline have also been added to the policy.

In accordance with the process for formal review, employees covered by this policy are encouraged to provide feedback. Comments from campus employees may be forwarded to Employee & Labor Relations in Campus Human Resources at chr@chr.ucla.edu or for Health System employees to Maure Gardner at mgardner@mednet.ucla.edu by April 21, 2014.
