To cope with insufficient state funding for enrollment growth and continuing budget cuts due to the state's financial crisis, UC Board of Regents approved plans to curtail undergraduate enrollment growth, freeze the salaries of top administrators and significantly restrict compensation for a large group of senior leadership.
The latter plans also include restrictions on bonus and incentive payments for certain employees under the systemwide Staff Recognition and Development Program. We will post guidelines regarding incentive/bonus awards under UCLA's Staff Achievement Award Program and similar local programs as soon as they become available.
