AVOIDING OVERPAYMENTS
To avoid overpayments to employees who may become ineligible for the increase or retroactive pay, EDB preparers must notify Irma Arellano in Campus Payroll Services at 794-8734 of any employee who leaves the unit after April 4, 2006, and prior to the respective payout dates of April 19, May 1 and May 3. For the lump sum, notification is required if the employee leaves the unit prior to May 31 (biweekly) and June 1 (monthly). To take the employee out of the unit, you can add Irma’s name to the PAN notification when the action is processed.
