The annual Small Business Resource Fair will be held on Feb. 1, 2011, in the Ackerman Grand Ballroom from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be a wide array of small business vendors available to discuss their products and services with campus customers.
The Resource Fair is a key outreach activity to promote commerce with small businesses at UCLA. All UCLA staff members can benefit from this event. Your participation helps UCLA meet its obligations as a federal contractor and may improve the value you get from your purchasing dollar.
Bring your BruinCard I.D. to allow for easier entry into the Resource Fair and you’ll automatically be entered in the “Swipe to Win” Sweepstakes for several chances to win a $25 deposit on your BruinCard. And visit the UCLA Staff Assembly booth for a chance to win two roundtrip airline tickets for travel in the US or Canada (excluding Hawaii), donated by the UC Travel Center. Prize drawings will occur throughout the event and the grand prize winner will be drawn at 12:45 p.m.
Sample products will be given out from several vendors, and light refreshments will be available beginning at 11:30 a.m.
