On behalf of Campus Human Resources, the Anderson School of Management, and the Chancellor’s Office, I am pleased to invite applications for the Chancellor’s Diversity Leadership Scholarships to one of three Diverse Leadership Development programs offered in 2017 by UCLA Anderson’s Office of Executive Education.
These scholarships are made possible by the generous support of Anderson’s Dean Judy Olian, and we encourage those of you with interest in attending to apply and/or share this special opportunity with members of your staff at Management and Senior Professional (MSP) Grade 1 and above.
The opportunities are:
Anderson Multidimensional Leaders’ Institute
March 21 – July 25, 2017
The UCLA Multidimensional Leaders’ Institute is designed to promote the professional development of managers who lead in a multi-cultural and multi-generational workforce, including leaders of color, managers with disabilities, and LGBT managers.
Anderson Women’s Leadership Institute
August 15 – December 12, 2017
This program is ideal for those with five or more years of experience managing people and/or projects. The Institute delivers executive coaching, web conferences, personal assessments and peer mentoring. Each participant employs an Action Journal to create a personalized Leadership Action Plan.
Banco Santander W30 Program
June 19 – 22, 2017
This three-day program supports the professional development and advancement of women in higher education administration, especially those in Assistant Dean (or higher) positions.
The deadline for applications is November 7, 2016.

Nominations are reviewed by a selection committee for recommendation to Chancellor Block. For those not selected for a scholarship, we encourage applications directly to UCLA Anderson. A 30% employee discount is available for eligible UCLA managers and senior staff. Early application is recommended, since space is limited. An announcement of the Scholarships will be made in January 2017.
