2011-12 Management Seminar Series

DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS

Re: 2011-12 Management Seminar Series

I am pleased to invite campus leaders, including faculty, managers and senior professional staff, to participate in the 2011-12 Management Seminar Series.

Building on Your Strengths is the theme of our new series, and it continues our partnership with UCLA Anderson’s Executive Education Program. The program, designed to strengthen management competencies to effectively lead a diverse workforce in a fast-changing and challenging work environment, features presentations by national experts in their fields and interactive dialog with campus peers and colleagues.

Quarterly sessions are offered by Anderson School and national faculty on these topics:

  • Bringing Your Best Self to Work, Laura Morgan Roberts
     November 9, 2011
  • Leadership Styles & Skills, Corrine Bendersky
     December 6, 2011
  • Driving Collaboration, Bob McCann
     February 7, 2012
  • Behavioral Decision-Making, Maia Young
     March 13, 2012

For more information about the series, review our eBrochure in Related Information. To enroll, please visit the UC Learning Center in Related Information and select the Management Seminar Series category.

Package enrollments enjoy priority, since space is limited. Departments may reserve a package and designate in advance different participants for selected seminars. The fee for a complete Seminar Series Package is $500 and $165 for individual seminars.

We appreciate your ongoing support of CHR Training and Development efforts to enhance leadership preparation. Please contact the Training Desk (training@chr.ucla.edu) for enrollment assistance and Robert Gibson (rgibson@chr.ucla.edu) or Rejeana Mathis (rmathis@chr.ucla.edu) for program information. We look forward to seeing you at the 2011-12 Management Seminar Series.

Sincerely,

Lubbe Levin
