Veterans' Protection

UCLA has established nondiscrimination in employment policies and applicable complaint resolution procedures to ensure that applicants and employees are not subject to discrimination or harassment because of their covered veteran status. For definitions of covered veterans, please click on the Who is a Covered Veteran? link located on the right.

If you would like more information on the protections for Veterans under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), click on the USERRA related link located to the right.

If you feel that you have been discriminated against or harassed because of your status as a covered veteran, and are interested in receiving assistance, or if you would like to file a complaint regarding discrimination or harassment, click on Filing a Complaint related links on the right side of the page. If you would like to file a complaint under the discrimination/ harassment provisions of USERRA, click on Filing a Complaint in the related links located to the right.

If you are interested in filing a Grievance under the provisions of PPSM (Personnel Policies for Staff Members), or a collective bargaining agreement, click on Filing a Grievance related link on the right.
