Take advantage of skill building and professional development opportunities. The following are highlights of upcoming workshops. We look forward to seeing you in class!

SUPERVISION, MANAGEMENT, AND LEADERSHIP

Communication Skills for Supervisors - Learn techniques to improve communication with your subordinates on a daily basis with special emphasis on providing performance feedback. Discover how to identify and implement solutions to communication problems. This class will be held February 16.

Leading High Performance Teams – Would you like to know the secret to helping teams perform at their best? Participants will learn tools and skills to perform three primary responsibilities that support their team's growth and productivity. This class will be held February 18.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Advanced Accounting I – This class expands upon the principles learned in the Accounting fundamentals course. Review case studies from UCLA to better understand topics such as fund accounting concepts, sources of UC revenue, and applicable state and federal laws. This class will be held February 28.
